Visit www.eyesontherise.org/app to find your home’s elevation.  Then come pick up your free Underwater Marker on Sunday, December 2, 2018 (10am – 5 pm) at Pinecrest Gardens during the Farmers Market: 11000 S Red Road, Pinecrest, FL 33156 and display it on your front lawn from December 2 through 9, 2018.  Use it as a catalyst to engage your neighbors in conversations about what you are going to do to address sea level rise in your community.  Then invite them to join us at Pinecrest Gardens on January 9, 2019 at 7pm for the inaugural meeting of our Underwater Homeowners Association (www.underwaterHOA.com).

Make your own Underwater Marker: Paint your yard sign white (the color of Antarctic glaciers).  Draw the number of your property’s elevation on the right side of the sign.  Paint a squiggly line across the bottom of the sign in blue to represent the rising seas.
