Miami artist, Xavier Cortada, has been commissioned to create public art using a variety of media across diverse sites. Cortada’s work aims to address our relationship to place, to each other and the natural world. He has developed innovative art solutions to public art making that explore our ability to coexist with nature.
Cortada has created art across six continents. He has also been selected for juried artist pools for the following public art programs: Seattle, El Paso, Iowa, Los Angeles, and Broward County.
Recently, he has been commissioned to create art for Port Everglades and for several Miami-Dade County public housing sites.
